The freshest Kubuntu 20.10 and the "cleanest" installation - just boot to live
CD, set additional layout, switch to this language, lock the screen, and voila!
the language of lockscreen is not English.

Same bug on my system. Tested with us and pt-br kayboard layouts.

Same issue here.

SUMMARY
kscreenlocker should use default keyboard layout when switching policy is set
to Application

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up primary keyboard layout (e.g en)
2. Add secondary keyboard layout (e.g. sk)
3. Change layout switching policy to Application
4. Use any application and change keyboard layout to sk
5. Lock the screen

OBSERVED RESULT
Lockscreen uses keyboard layout sk

EXPECTED RESULT
Lockscreen should use default keyboard layout en
