When I downloaded and installed the Neon disk image for 2020-01-07 to check this problem, there was no error. Then I updated the newly installed system and turned it off. Now Neon loaded again, hoping to see the difference in console output. But if you poke the “Anti-Aliasing:” checkbox several times, then the button becomes active. This has to be done with every font setup.
