And on Wayland we do have support for mouse button shortcuts for a limited set of actions in KWin. The number of possible and useful mouse shortcuts is rather low and thus no ui is available just like for modifier only shortcuts. Anyway setting to won't fix as we won't implement support for this on X11 anymore even if we could.
