From mobile, sorry for non in-line answer. Using a QApplication doesn't immediately mean you need to call setTranslators, in fact it should be the exception, most apps probably use KXmlGuiWindow or subclass as main window and that does it automatically.  Cheers,   Albert Enviat des del meu
