I did not see anywhere to put in dietary restrictions in the registration

Registering isn't really that hard to do and it lets us know which days you are 
attending and any dietary restrictions which you can't tell just from someone 
giving a talk

Even keynote speakers. I remember once that Aaron was a keynote and had not

Lydia forgot to mention that on-site community registration will also be 
200€ rather than pay-what-you-can-afford, as it is currently, to give you 
the hint that we really really need you to register before hand. We have 
to give numbers to the venue in 2 weeks time.

asap. On-site registration right at the event is highly discouraged
this year as it makes the organisation of the event considerably
