The forwarding was removed when we changed lists.kde.org to redirect to marc.info instead of being pointed at them directly as it interfered in the redirector. We can't redirect people from mail.kde.org to lists.kde.org only to have that redirect them back to our hosted archives on mail.kde.org (which we've redirected to lists.kde.org). You'd end up with a redirection loop. I'd have no objection to people providing mbox files to re-seed the archives and enabling archiving though.
