Voting has now been disabled on Bugzilla. We are investigating ways to
make the CC count affect the bug janitor's automatic priority
categorization in its stead.

If we were to remove them, users would have no way to show that they care about
a bug aside from adding annoying "Please fix this, it is important to
me"-comments. So in that sense it serves a similar purpose as the duplicates
count. Duplicates count is very imprecise though because there will

I do vote on Bugzilla, but given the limited development resource, I
find vote less useful than the number of duplicates or CCs.
