  Personally, I like these icons and they can be easily used on the system 
(shared-mime-info) or KDE level (kcoreaddons) level with very minor patching, 
imho.

  It seems that there is no such MIME type yet. It should be added as something 
like "application/root" (icons should be renamed too, e.g.

  For some reason if I try to set the icons for ".root" files, they are shown 
in the dialog box, the icon can be set, but they are not shown in Dolphin. Has 
anyone an idea what I am doing wrong?
