I am an old Cinelerra and Open Shot user at age 82 I don't think I can relearn Cinelerra and believe that Open shot has so improved that it no longer works. I had tried Kdenlive in it's early years but found it lacking back then when it was new. Looks good to me now. Can someone supply a go

Kdenlive Crashes oin start up

I am making a video of mostly pictures and some Video. When Kdenlive it starts for a couple of seconds and then crashes. I opened kdenlive in the Terminal and below is the error. I guess this error is shutting the program down? Can someone help with a solution? This is the last entry so am

Exit full screen

I am using Kdenlive on Mint18.1 Kdenlive is the 17.04 and have clicked full screen and cant get of ot that. Exit full screen does not reduce window size. I tried f11 and a couple short cut keys. NO luck? Can someone help. Thanks Douglas Pollard

I am sorry I sounded off here. I thought this Kdenlive list would have someone more knowledgeable than just us users trying to help each other. Had I know this I likely would have used some other video editing program. They represent this list as support. Sorry about the fuss.Doug Poll

Ok, congratulate me and Your selves please. I installed Kubuntu and Kdenlive. Haven't put any video on it yet but everything seems to work. I can now I can now expand it to full desktop size and the reduce it so it is useful and so I can run other programs without closing Kdenlive. Thanks for the

Time lines not wide enough

I some how reduced my time lines to about 1/8the of an in wide and spent a couple hours trying to get them back to a normal size can someone tell me how to do that. The best I could do was to increase them to 1/4 inch just a wee bit small, 3/8 or 1/2 inch would be good.           Please help,

Kdenlive 18.12.1

I have sound and video But no thumbnail of the sound wave form. I am running Kdenlive in Mint 19.1 I am getting a error reading audio thumb nail. Any body know how to fix this??  Thanks for any help, Douglas Pollard

No sound wave in audio

Zoom and pan

I finished up a Video yesterday and searched for hours trying to find zoom and pan in Kdenlive 19.04.0 using Key frames.  I know it has to be there some place. I had to take my video  to Cinelerra to finish it. Can someone tell me were to find it. Seems to have disappeared??   Thanks Doug

How to change Sterio into monoral
