A change in Qt 5.11. It now respects the minimumSectionSize() in QHeaderView,
so it needs to be setup correctly.

Dear Canoe (of comment 23). I applied the workaround of Christian Adam in
comment 5.
For the two foreground-items I choose the darker grey #7c7c7c and for the
background items I choose the lighter grey #c0c0c0. It looks even
