Try to change the PGP key server. hkp://wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net showed the same
behaviour for me since a while. After changing to http://keys.gnupg.net the
lookup works without

Thanks tim, that seems to fix the problem. Still there should be code that
deals with an unresponsive keyserver instead of locking the UI.
