I collect all mail from my own IMAP server, using one account setting, but I use multiple identities according to the destination when sending mail. The problem I had (and the version is the same as yours) was that the migration appears to have given a corrupt path to the folders. The Configure Keyboard shortcut dialog should only be modal to the main window. Since this dialog is available in almost any KDE application I think this can occur in various places and is not only valid for KMail. But after a system startup/resume from standby, the resource is not syncing. If I stop and restart Akonadi, the resource is syncing fine until next reboot/standby. I suspect this is due to the fact that my online resources (IMAP, WebDAV calendar and WebDAV contacts) are unavailable while Akonadi launches because it takes a moment for the the WLAN card to connect. One would assume that during next sync cycle, the online resource would by synced (at least for IMAP after 5min, which is the sync frequency) but this seems not to be the case. I verified this for IMAP and guess it is the case for WebDAV resources too. But for WebDAV I have not checked this thoroughly enough to be sure. So if I stop Akonadi (akonadictl stop) and restart it again (akonadictl start), it syncs instantly. Is Akonadi supposed to show this behaviour or did I ran into a bug? Lynx converts everything to plain text, but considers HTML formatting, e.g. for list environments. BTW, what is KDE's or Kontact's policy on using external programs like lynx? Starting kelopatra with option -d only works one time. When the process kleopatra.exe ist already started the command has no effect. At the moment we start a script when double-clicking an ecrypted file. This script first kills kleopatra.exe and then runs the command kleopatra with parameter -d but you will aggree that this is just a poor workaround. Reproducible: Didn't try Expected Results: A small interface for UI-server which is started with kleopatra.exe (and a new parameter) which can be used to open an encrypted file. That is incorrect; it is kept in .kde/share/apps/kmail/mail. At least in my Kubuntu system (10.04), ~/Mail does not exist at all. Another related problem is that you can't just copy a Mail file from some other installation and plug it into the mail location cited above. If you try to do that, you get a message: KMail could not create folder '/home/pwa/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail'; please make sure that you can view and modify the content of the folder '/home/pwa'. That message appears to be bogus. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Place a file in .kde/share/apps/kmail/mail and try to start kmail. Actual Results: Message cited above. It happens on my laptop, whenever i use Kmail on it, it deletes ALL emails received after 3.11.2010 from ALL 3 of my IMAP accounts. Unluckily only gmail has the all emails folder that saves them. From my 2 other accounts mails are lost forever. My desktop is running KDE 4.4.5 and kmail 1.13.5 on x86_64 gentoo and it doesn't show this behavior. Go figure.
