[kmail2] [Bug 354632] New: KMail network is not resumed. Connections remain offline.

2015-10-30 Thread Sudhir Khanger via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354632

Bug ID: 354632
Summary: KMail network is not resumed. Connections remain
offline.
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: sud...@sudhirkhanger.com

Whenever I open Kmail the connections remain offline. I have to do Ctrl+L every
time I open KMail.

I have set my account to go offline on shutdown and also do mail checkup on
start. The mail checkup on start doesn't happen and accounts remain offline.

Reproducible: Always

Same problem here. After update to Kubuntu 15.10 (Kontact 5.02) at a certain
point my address book cache got cleared and shows 0 contacts (out of > 1200).

Re-adding the resource shows I can retrieve my collections (1 local, 1 shared),
but still when syncing it stalls at about 30%, then after a long wait
completes, but shows 0 contacts. Tried putting the resource offline/online,
restarting it etc.

Not sure if this might be caused by some kind of time out due to the large
amount of contacts.

I can probably provide a similar debugger log using the akonadi console, let me
know if/how I can help.

Sounds like it's just the old version of the program and I'll just have to wait

2015-10-30 Thread Nick via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354594

Bug ID: 354594
Summary: Looking up an address online fails: Mapquest 'The
AppKey submitted with this request is invalid.'
   Product: kaddressbook
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
   URL: http://open.mapquestapi.com/nominatim/v1/search.php?q=
test%20address%20+London%20+GB
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: nickmdow...@gmail.com
CC: to...@kde.org

Hi, when I'm looking at a contact's data in Kaddressbook and click on the blue
link on the right of the address to see it on a map, it goes to the mapquest
page but gives an error saying:

'The AppKey submitted with this request is invalid.'

I've given an example of this in the url above though changed it to remove
personal data.

I'm not sure if there's a way to add other map services or to fix this one.
Thanks.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to contact
2. click on blue link to go a map in browser
3.

Actual Results:
Web page gives error message.

Expected Results:
Map of Location.

KDE version 4.14.2, Kaddressbook 4.14.1. On Debian Jessie.
