starting kmail from konsole will render the same error.
starting korganizer from konsole will crash akonadi_control, but with a

I don't think that any of the issues raised here are a big (or any) security
concern. Because mails are only ever valid if the corresponding root
certificate is trusted.

starting akonadi via akonadictl start does not produce any errors in konsole.
Starting kontact in konsole will produce the same "Cannot rename log file -
running on a readonly filesystem
