[Bug 286247] New: No feedback when an IMAP server is unreachable
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286247 Summary: No feedback when an IMAP server is unreachable Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Unlisted Binaries OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: UI AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: wstephen...@kde.org Online IMAP resource. When the server is unreachable, KMail only shows the 'retrieving folder contents' widget forever, without reporting a failure to connect. This will be mistaken by the average user for Akonadi weirdness. Expected behaviour: Display a status message. Hide the folder tree for the unreachable server. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 259949] Kmail does not use all addressbooks for autocompletion
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259949 --- Comment #39 from postdoc38 yahoo fr 2011-11-10 13:58:06 --- In my experience, autocompletion is a totally unreliable feature so far. Sometimes it works, sometime not. It might be my fault as I update kde regularly (once a week or more), waiting for other long standing bugs to be resolved. However, autocompletion has always worked for *some* time after wiping all akonadi/nepomuk stuff (see commands below) then redefining all akonadi resources (addressbooks, IMAP resources and the like). Beware that you will need to reenter all your credentials for all your email accounts, aso.
