The bug is still present - Kontact is not seeing calendar events from the server. I should point out that I'm not using Owncloud for this either, so no kitten-eating here. I'm using the caldav software from Synology that's on my diskstation (with the most up-to-date software). Thunderbird (Lightning) and Android (Davdroid) sync just fine here, and Synology list other software they've tested it with.
