[Akonadi] [Bug 325224] CalDav doesn't read server items

2016-09-16 Thread S . Bryant via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325224

I've just installed the OpenSuse Leap 42.2 beta to test this (Kontact 5.1.3).
The bug is still present - Kontact is not seeing calendar events from the
server.

I should point out that I'm not using Owncloud for this either, so no
kitten-eating here. I'm using the caldav software from Synology that's on my
diskstation (with the most up-to-date software). Thunderbird (Lightning) and
Android (Davdroid) sync just fine here, and Synology list other software
they've tested it with. The bug is not on the server side.

[kontact] [Bug 368895] New: KMail crashes when selecting a specific message

2016-09-16 Thread Andreas Mahel via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368895

Bug ID: 368895
Summary: KMail crashes when selecting a specific message
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: andr...@mahel.net

Application: kontact (5.3.0 (QtWebEngine))

Qt Version: 5.6.1
Frameworks Version: 5.25.0
Operating System: Linux 4.7.3-1-default x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE Tumbleweed"

-- Information about the crash:
There is one specific mail in my mail folders. On opening this mail KMail will
crash.

The same happens when:
 - KMail, preview pane enabled => selecting the mail in the message list
 - KMail, preview pane disabled => selecting the mail in the message list
works, opening the mail will crash KMail
 - Akonadiconsole, browser => selecting the message in the akonadicontrol
browser will crash Akonadiconsole

I have the message both in a local folder from a pop account, as well as in a
IMAP folder => the crash happens either way.

I could also reproduce the issue in a freshly set up Opensuse Tumbleweed system
(default KDE desktop setup).

KMail Version 5.3.0 (QtWebEngine)
Using:
KDE Frameworks 5.25.0
Qt 5.6.1 (built against 5.6.1)
The xcb windowing system

The crash can be reproduced every time.
