Which graphics driver are you using? Are we all using nouveau?

I renamed kmail2rc in .~/.config/ to kmail2rc.old and got the following error
when starting kmail:

bash-4.3$ kmail
"Tag 'a' is not defined in message {<__kuit_internal_top__>KMail has many
powerful features that are described in th...}."
"Tag 'br' is not defined in message {<__kuit_internal_top__>Thank you,The

this does not work on a KActionCollection containing actions!

[kmail2] [Bug 369425] New: bringing up emails from IMAP is very slow and details appear missing

2016-09-27 Thread davidblunkett via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369425

Bug ID: 369425
Summary: bringing up emails from IMAP is very slow and details
appear missing
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.1.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: dav1dblunk...@hotmail.com

Frequently, but not all the time, kmail is very slow bringing up emails leaving
long pauses "retrieving emails" - I'm current using kubuntu 16.04 and this
problem has started since moving here from 14.04 last month.

In addition the attachment symbols are often missing in the list of emails,
reading the email often, but not always, causes it to reappear. Sometimes this
is just some emails, but, sometimes (at present) all the attachment symbols
vanish. Hovering over the email in the list produces the same result - the tag
showing attachment is missing even if the attachment is present in the email
pane below. Sometimes this is fixed by selecting another mailbox and switching
back but it is a bit random.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Select and email and wait for a long time for it to be retrieved

Actual Results:
Attachment symbols may or may not be present and there may be long delays
retrieving emails

Expected Results:
Symbols should appear correctly and the random long delays shouldn't occur

If I start a new email and type the address the autocompletion / autosuggestion
for email addresses does not start until I type a few characters and delete
them and start again!

Once I've done this everything is but until this there are no
suggestions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start a new email
Start typing the address - no autocompletion or suggestions
Delete typing and start again - autocompletion and suggestions appear.

Actual Results:
No autocompletion or suggestions

Expected Results:
Autocompletion and suggestions should just occur

I can't find any way to remove mis-spelt addresses from the list - this is
annoying.

i noticed sometimes the lost columns are all hidden in the rightmost
millimeter. You can only see this when pulling the horizontal scrollbar to the
right. IMO a very simple fix would be to define a minumum size for columns.

Bug ID: 369416
Summary: regression: can no longer drag and drop email
addresses from message headers
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.3.0
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: jospoortvl...@gmail.com

I often create emails to a group by dragging the names from an open email into
the composer window but this no longer works. You simply can't drag email
addresses anymore... Right now, all I can do is click each name, select-paste
from the 'to' in the new composer which opens into my other composer window,
then close the window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. view an email
2. try to drag the email address of the sender or somebody in (B)CC
3. Observe how nothing happens

Actual Results:
You can't drag and drop

[akregator] [Bug 189195] no feedback clicking on a link

2016-09-27 Thread gabriele monfardini via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189195

When you click on a link there is no moving parts even in 5.x but a border
appears around the link.
If network is slow new tabs still take several seconds to appear.
So now it's a little annoyance, no more a real bug

[akregator] [Bug 345747] link is displayed incorrectly (woff fonts are used) and page is not fully visible

2016-09-27 Thread gabriele monfardini via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345747

The bug is still present in akregator 5.1.3 even if a bit better than in 4.x
(attachment added).
Link text overflows on the left, some letters at right border are not visible
(fi. look at "with details shared in public with" in fourth paragraph).
There is also another letter spacing issue in text "Oct 1st, 2014" in 5th
paragraphs.
If you need me to make different text, I'm willing to help.

[kmail2] [Bug 310815] Warning that deleting an attachment is irreversible

2016-09-27 Thread Bernhard E . Reiter via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310815

@Denis,
of course I appreciate your work in KDE and the issue tracker in particular,
cleaning up is very important!

I did ask, because your short comment did not explain the situation for me. My
suggestion would be that you should link a more official statement. Your last
statement reads like "4.14 KDEPIM" would be unmaintained. If this would be
really the case I think we should notify all distributions about it. Getting
4.14 from Ubuntu, Debian or OpenSuse or any other GNU/Linux distribution is
then just a security risk. So my hope is that the policy is different.
