After adding an account, not sure if I missed any fields as I hit ok quickly to
switch to another task (interruption). Then every application I used lost focus
in and out in and out. After launching a full screen application it was
immediately minimized and I soon realized focus was being stolen as opening
menus or krunner and such would quickly close.

I open xev and saw loads of:

FocusIn event, serial 75, synthetic NO, window 0x941
FocusOut event, serial 75, synthetic NO, window 0x941

The serial number changing if I pressed lots of keys as I originally thought it
was a stuck key or something. I unplugged all devices and controlled machine
through kde-connect remote input, but the issue still occurred.

Hard shutdown, waited 30 seconds and booted and issue quickly came back, even
with all devices unplugged. I proceeded to close all applications, but issue
persistented and so I cycled the power again.

When I logged back in all was fine and I went on to do other things for an hour
or so with no issues. Then I remembered I was not done setting up account in
kmail. Opened it back up and opened menu to get to settings and it closed by
itself. Checked xev and sure enough it was back. I ended up forcing my way into
the menus and remove the account. All was good after that.

I am going to assume this has something to do with the account not having a
successful password prompt as it asked me once and I hit cancel since I was
need to do something quickly. Seems like it was infinitely cycling on checking
the mail and perhaps "thinking" about prompting me for a password. This
occurred even when application was minimized to tray.

If others cannot reproduce I may attempt again, but a bit nervous to hose
things again at the moment.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add account
2. cancel password prompt
3. tears
Actual Results:  
focus stolen

Expected Results:  
not steal focus

Think this might be related to what causes the issue

In looking into that I discovered that the attachment object (in the code)
extends a text part (which is why is was being used for the quote text), that
could well be why a textual MIME type is being chosen here also.

Code hack

After some more digging around, I discovered that toplevelTextNode() in
utils.cpp is returning non-text parts.

That is because AttachmentMessagePart extends TextMessagePart, and therefore
it's been deeming images/etc. as textual.

The attached patch hacks a quick fix to not return an AttachmentMessagePart
which seems to work around the problem and makes replies work as expected for
me.

Plasma crashes irreversibly when 

-enabling Holidays: Goto Digital Clock Settings->Calendar->check
Holidays->Apply ->crash (see Video 2)
-scroling in Holidays' list: Goto Digital Clock Settings->Holidays and scroll
in the Holidays' list ->crash (see Video 1)

Crash means: Taskbar and widgets and wallpaper and so on vanish.
Irreversible means: Even after rebooting and entering my password on welcome
screen, I will get a very long Splash Screen, which eventually turns into a
black screen without taskbar/widgets/wallpapers. Nothing. 

How to restore a working system: 
rm ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc or following line in this
file:
enabledCalendarPlugins=/usr/lib/qt/plugins/plasmacalendarplugins/holidaysevents.so

I don't know if it is a KHolidays Bug or Plasma Bug or both. First of all, I
will post it here (KHolidays), if there will be no feedback, I will post it
also in Plasma.

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
Enable Holidays and scroll in the list without permanent crash.

I'm sorry. I've forgotten to close it (Do I have permissions to do it?). It
works again (on all my platforms) since I've migrated my desktop to plasma5. So

Change trash folder destination on account, then move messages in that account

In several cases, a displayed HTML mail influences the fancy message header's
style.

See the attached screenshots for reference - the screenshot taken in plain text
view shows how the header should look like.

The screenshot taken in the HTML view shows how the mail's styles influence the
header. Notice the missing borders around the header, the increased title text
size and the messed-up formatting of the dspam status line.

BTW: The dspam status formatting differs from all other header line
formattings, as it's expressed using completely different HTML tags:
