[Akonadi] [Bug 372474] New: Syntax error. l2sm18082790wji.7 - gsmtp when sending invite

2016-11-14 Thread Thaodan
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372474

Bug ID: 372474
Summary: Syntax error. l2sm18082790wji.7 - gsmtp when sending
invite
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 5.3.0
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Google Resource
  Assignee: dvra...@kde.org
  Reporter: theodorstormgr...@gmail.com
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

When I try to invite someone into an invite and I enter the person like this
 m...@mail.com
Google says this:
"
"Das Senden der E-Mail ist fehlgeschlagen" "Fehler beim Übertragen der
Nachricht. Message sending failed since the following recipients were rejected
by the server:\nBj?rn Bidar (The server
responded: \"5.5.2 Syntax error. l2sm18082790wji.7 - gsmtp\"
"

If the person is just entered by their email everything is fine.
So the Name in front of the email needs to be ignored when sending the mail.

Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela
I have tended to do updates maybe once a week or fortnight. I'm not sure as to
which update may have caused Akonadi to stop working.

Sorry, that was the Debian version, of course. Kontact says it's 5.2.3,
Akonadi is at 5.2.2.

2016-11-14 Thread quazgar

Very similar here, after rebooting the computer, filtering consistently does
nothing.  Restarting the Akonadi server always makes filtering work again.

Debian testing here, Kontact, KMail and Akonadi are all at version 16.04.3-2.
