Platform: Gentoo
Qt: 5.9.3
KDE Frameworks: 5.41.0
plasmashell 5.11.4
kmail2 5.7.0

Decided to try again after upgrading to kde-apps 17.12.0, Still cannot read
large emails, thus kmail is still useless, will try again on the next update.

Hi

I can't find anywhere to download a recent version of Korganizer, as a .deb.
The official page contains links that either don't point to downloads (of
installable files) or are broken. I don't fancy compiling from source.

In Kmail 5.6.3 it was possible to show the message strecture pane by "view ->
show message structure". This option is no longer available in 5.7.0.

However, it is still needed in some cases, e.g., of malformed/complex mails, to
select the right container and it also helps to see/verify the actual mail
structure and content (e.g. to see if there is a plain text version).

For another account using SMTP, I am seeing another error in the notification
widget. Instead of getting a "1", as for the original report, I am seeing
"Serverfehler", the German translation of Server error, in the notification
window, but unluckily no debug output in the terminal.

2017-12-15 Thread Jan-Matthias Braun

Further tests with another account revealed, that sending via the EWS resource
works.

So does sending via a local mail dispatcher, like ssmtp or nullmailer. Although
akonadi/kmail2 seems to run into problems with sendmail compatibility issues of
those.

When trying to send an e-Mail since trying out the 17.12 pre-releases, I am

Creating a DAVGroupware resource in KOrganizer and linking it to an owncloud

though, it crashes. When removing the resource using akonadiconsole, KOrganizer
starts normally, and the whole cycle can be repeated.
