[kmail2] [Bug 392433] New: Replying to secondary identity uses incorrect "To:" address.

2018-03-27 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392433

Bug ID: 392433
Summary: Replying to secondary identity uses incorrect "To:"
address.
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: patrickrif...@yandex.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Product information:
Kmail Version: 5.7.3
KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0
Qt Version: 5.10.1
OS: Arch Linux x86_64

Bug Description:
As stated in 301449, when having multiple identities configured in Kmail and
sending messages between them, Kmail will incorrectly set the recipient
identities' address as the "To:" address as opposed to the sender identities'
address when replying. This has been tested on multiple systems and clean
installs and can be replicated each time.

Steps to replicate:
- Create two seperate identities in Kmail.
- Create two mail accounts in Kmail.
- Manually assign a different Outgoing Account to each identity under
"Identity", "Modify" and "Advanced" (eg: assign f...@mail.com to the identity
"Foo", assign b...@mail.com to the identity "Bar").
- Manually assign a different Identity to each account under "Accounts",
"Modify" and "Advanced" (eg: assign "Foo" to f...@mail.com and "Bar" to
b...@mail.com).
- Send a test email from "Foo" to the address in "Bar".
- Upon receiving the email in "Bar", hit "Reply".

Expected Results:
- "To:" field would be auto-filled with "f...@mail.com".

Actual Results:
- "To:" field is auto-filled with "b...@mail.com".

Workaround:
Upon replying, select "Reply to Author" as opposed to "Reply". This will assign
the correct "To:" address.

I am also seeing this issue. Nothing changed in the config, and cannot send
mails... they remain in the outbox while it keeps failing and retrying...
Eventually after some retries, it does send the email.

I'm also having regular crashes (way too many) on two different machines, one
that has a bit more than 60 feeds, and the other has 24
the respective Archive/ directory is 744MB and 197MB

I used to have very seldom crashes on the past, but not a single one that has
lead to a loss of all my feeds, with only Kde (plus 6 sub-feeds) and Debian
with 2 sub-feeds

the quick and dirty way that I found to recover from this situation is the
following:
- close/quit akregator
- go to the akregator data directory (it can be either
~/.local/share/akregator/data or ~/.local/share/akregator/data)
- restore the feeds.opml from any previous session or backups (the feeds should
matche all the Archive/*.m4k files)

I'm using akregator 17.08.3 on Debian/Sid with the latest plasma 5.12.3

I really hope someone will find a way to mitigate this very useful application,
or at least that crashes won't need to depend on backups (auto-recovery of
feeds.opml based on the latest m4k files?!)

[korganizer] [Bug 392399] New: Applying a template does not enable the Apply button

2018-03-27 Thread Nikolaos Kakouros
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392399

Bug ID: 392399
Summary: Applying a template does not enable the Apply button
   Product: korganizer
   Version: 5.7.2
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: incidence editors
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: tterrani...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a template in Korganizer's event editor
2. Create a new event save it
3. Try to edit the event by applying the template only (make sure there are
changes to be introduced by the template). Hit 'Apply' on the template chooser.

Expected results:

The template info is introduced and the 'Apply' button in the event editor
becomes active. Clicking on OK should save the event with the template applied.

Actual results:

The template info is introduced but the 'Apply' buttons does not become active
and hitting OK does not save the changes (unless you have made further manual
changes).

Title says it all. I do not know if this is a bug or a feature but it would
save a lot of time to have categories saved in a template. For instances, I
import a calendar from work that has 85 events. I want to edit them all to add
remindes and tags/categories. Having templates track all this info would save a
lot of clicking.

[korganizer] [Bug 392394] New: Month view jumps when editing an event

2018-03-27 Thread Nikolaos Kakouros
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392394

Bug ID: 392394

OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: monthview
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

  Target Milestone: ---

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Korganizer in month view
2. Move to next month using button on the bottom right corner (eg April)
3. Edit an event that is scheduled for next month
4. Save to close any modal windows

Expected behavior:

The month view should stay on the next month

What happens:

The month view jumps to the current month. If you press again the button in the
bottom right corner to go the next month again, it goes two months ahead, ie
May. If you repeat the above one more time, it takes you three months ahead. It
seems internally the correct month is kept, but the view refreshes to the
current month.

Possible related info, my regional settings are set to Sweden.
