[kontact] [Bug 419572] Akonadi / Kontact crashes at system startup when started in automatic with the desktop
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419572 Wolfgang Bauer changed: What|Removed |Added CC||wba...@tmo.at --- Comment #2 from Wolfgang Bauer --- Does it help if you revert the last glibc update? E.g. YaST->Software Management, search for glibc, click on "Versions" and install an older one. I did notice some openSUSE bugreports about crashes after the last update in Leap 15.1 (GNOME related, but still). I.e. it might be a downstream issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kleopatra] [Bug 363309] certificates signed through marginal trusted certificates are incorrectly displayed
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363309 --- Comment #3 from Andre Heinecke --- The proper fix here would be to use the trust levels that we use in GpgOL throughout Kleopatra and KMail (libkleo) https://wiki.gnupg.org/AutomatedEncryption#Trust_Levels There is already some work on this done in libkleo as I would like to move it also there. (GpgOL also uses libkleo for GUI Elements). We had an issue in phabricator for KMail to do this but never gotten around to it. I hope to do some more work on this later this year to have KMail use the same keyresolver dialog from Libkleo that GpgOL uses. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
[kontact] [Bug 419572] Akonadi / Kontact crashes at system startup when started in automatic with the desktop
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419572 --- Comment #1 from staka...@eclipso.eu --- To my surprise the application Kontact (crashed in foreground and not restarted, did perform an instance of archiving (archiving is the set to daily, one time, automatic. The file size is 1.7 GB and the created file generally 1.1 GB) and confirmed the correct end of the process. As this plugin is started in automatic too, this could be related? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419572 Bug ID: 419572 Summary: Akonadi / Kontact crashes at system startup when started in automatic with the desktop Product: kontact Version: 5.10.3 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Keywords: drkonqi Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: staka...@eclipso.eu Target Milestone: --- Application: kontact (5.10.3) Qt Version: 5.9.7 Frameworks Version: 5.55.0 Operating System: Linux 4.12.14-lp151.28.44-default x86_64 Distribution: "openSUSE Leap 15.1" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: starting the plasma session with applications loading. - Unusual behavior I noticed: before even the GUI of Kontact was started the programm crashed. In other accounts were I have the akonadi instance running eg as organizer, akonadi crashes there at startup too. I am therefore not sure that this is an akonadi or kontact but. - Custom settings of the application: There have been large update of glibc recently in opensuse Leap, do not know if this is related. The setting of plasma is to start in a row several applications in automatic at plasma loading. The crash of kontact happens before the password challenge of kwallet. The crash can be reproduced sometimes. -- Backtrace: Application: Kontact (kontact), signal: Aborted Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1".
