[kmail2] [Bug 426013] New: autocompletion on addresses is broken
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426013 Bug ID: 426013 Summary: autocompletion on addresses is broken Product: kmail2 Version: 5.13.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: composer Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: dav1dblunk...@hotmail.com Target Milestone: --- Previously: You'd type an address and a menu of addresses would appear below which you could select if you liked. This list of addresses did not interfere with typing the address. In the present version: (1) If I try to select an address the list disappears as soon as I move the mouse - it is as if the widget was unfocussed between moving the mouse from the address box to the menu - it is impossible to select a suggested address. (2) If I type too fast (and this isn't very fast) there is a short delay while the autocompletion updates. This removes key presses from the address bar and the result is that only every other key press is recorded in the address bar (but the autocomplete menu gets all presses). So "hallo" becomes "hlo". If you type very slooowwwly it's all fine. Turning off all forms of autocompletion fixes (2) but is a PITA -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kleopatra] [Bug 425889] Outdated GPG4Win Compendium document. Decryption doesnt work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=425889 Andre Heinecke changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |INTENTIONAL --- Comment #1 from Andre Heinecke --- Yes the Gpg4win-Compendium is outdated. It is no longer state of the art to give users a > 100 Page manual to understand a software. We are working on multiple replacements that are more use-case specific. But we still offer the old Compendium for people who want to understand the basics, even though it is outdated. I would of course love to have an up to date compendium... But we don't have the manpower to keep it up to date. It was initially written as part of a contract but that contract has long since be done. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
