[Akonadi] [Bug 395408] DATABASE ERROR: Error code: "1064"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395408 --- Comment #2 from John Apple II --- Hi, Justin, Since this occurred I had to stop using Akonadi and KMail as I could fulfill my role with the errors, and I had to switch to Evolution for email. I'll see if I can try Kmail and Akonadi again and attempt to reproduce, but it's probably reasonable to close this ticket due to its age as there's not much we can do with the change we've had in KDE. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[korganizer] [Bug 336490] new journal is not created due to lack of the calendar, although events and to-do's are ok and calendar (google) exist
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336490 kdebugtrac...@a.webmaple.net changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kdebugtrac...@a.webmaple.ne ||t --- Comment #12 from kdebugtrac...@a.webmaple.net --- According to [1], Evolution also supports VJournal entries, so I attempted this in GNU Evolution using a CalDAV web calendar (fastmail) to see if it was a client issue with my Kontact install (also listed as supporting VJournal in that entry), but GNU Evolution cannot do it either, as if you go to Calendar view, select a date, right click to attempt to create a VJOURNAL or Journal Entry option, there is no such UI element. There is a decade+ old patch note [2] for Evolution to support vjournal on the backend, but I cannot locate another way one should officially be able to do this in the Evolution UI. Semi-off topic, but just confirming that as of now, Kontact is not missing a feature Evolution supports. Both clients equally don't support creation of vjournal entries on a caldav backend :P [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICalendar#Journal_entry_%28VJOURNAL%29 [2] https://mail.gnome.org/archives/evolution-patches/2005-May/msg00188.html -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
