After completely removing config and akonadi stuff and starting from scratch
it works now.
Probably an issue from upgrades 4.8 up to 4.10

Takes 5-8 second for me, cpuusage of kmail goes to 100% during this time.
Kmail uses qtwebkit, right?
How look further whos fault it is?

IMHO the problem is in themedelegate.cpp
void ThemeDelegate::generalFontChanged()
always uses system font.
Attached patch seems to fix it.

What I can add is that it happens with QT 5.8 and 5.9.
