not 100% sure, but i think it crashed while using the jump window

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

Any news on this issue?

Create an email account, add 10k of mails -> akonadi/kmail stop working.

To me, this is a major issue. Any web client can handle this many emails.
Thunderbird works fine on the same account while kmail doesn't.
