[kontact] [Bug 474036] New: [Feature] Default access classification

2023-09-01 Thread sourcemaker
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474036

Bug ID: 474036
   Summary: [Feature] Default access classification
Classification: Applications
   Product: kontact
   Version: 5.24.0
  Platform: Archlinux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: calendar
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kde-bugzi...@aschoettler.com
  Target Milestone: ---

The access classification can be assigned in the calendar under access. This
value is either public, private, or confidential. The default value in calendar
is public.

It would be helpful if we could store these default access classification in
the settings. So there is no need to always change the standard public or even
worse, forget it and create the entry as public.

In KMail, the contact photos are no longer visible in the header.
Is this a known issue?

If I change the header style manually e.g. KMail 5.2 to Fancy Headers, then the
contact photo is displayed.
However, as soon as I open/select another mail, the contact photo is gray out.

If I change the header style again, the contact picture is visible again.
At least until a new mail is selected.

2018-08-20 Thread sourcemaker
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397677

Bug ID: 397677
Summary: Folder list shows all mails as unread
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: k...@aschoettler.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I have installed all available Arch Linux packages. My system is thus up to
date. Since the last update, all mails in the folder list are displayed as
unread, even though they are already marked as read in the mail overview. Also
a manual change as unread and read again does not help. The mails remain unread
in the folder list.

Access via IMAP.
The database is PostgreSQL.

I can confirm this issue.
In some cases, the address is also displayed incorrectly.

For example:

(correct)
Hauptstraße 1
70178 Stuttgart

(wrong)
Hauptstraße 1\
Stuttgart 70178

[Akonadi] [Bug 353987] New: Incomplete CardDav sync with ownCloud

2015-10-16 Thread sourcemaker via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353987

Bug ID: 353987
Summary: Incomplete CardDav sync with ownCloud
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: DAV Resource
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: i...@aschoettler.com

I use Kontact 5.0.2 and owncloud 8.1.3 to synchronize my contacts.
Unfortunately, the contacts are only partially synchronized.

I can sync Akonadi as often as I want, the number of missing contacts remain
the same.
Since my Android phone finds all contacts, I assume that Akonadi causes the
error.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add davgroupware resource to akonadi
2. Synchronize with owncloud (CardDav)

Actual Results:
Missing contacts!

Expected Results:
All contacts are synchronized

[Akonadi] [Bug 342268] New: Incomplete CalDav sync

2014-12-27 Thread sourcemaker

Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

I have created a DAV groupware resource to syncronize my owncloud calendar. The
calender is visible and works very well, but it seems that akonadi only syncs
the current year. Past events are not visible. Is there any way to configure
akonadi to sync the complete calendar?

I have the same issue in KMail 4.12.3 and it seems, that this issue still
exists. I have a large number of mails, which I can't mark as read. Everytime I
re-sync my inbox, this mails are unread again. On the server side, all mails
are already marked as read, but in kmail... unread again.

Environment:
Arch Linux - KDE Platform Version 4.12.3
Microsoft Exchange 2010 over Davmail (EWS)

Any idea, how I can fix this issue?

[Akonadi] [Bug 331221] New: 100 Popups - Error while trying to delete calendar item. Error was: No items found

2014-02-16 Thread sourcemaker
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331221

Bug ID: 331221
Summary: 100 Popups - Error while trying to delete calendar
item. Error was: No items found
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 4.12
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: DAV Resource
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: i...@aschoettler.com

I have an ownCloud server where all my calendar entries are stored. This
calendar is synchronized on both the Android smartphone and via Akonadi. This
ownCloud instance also contains a second calendar, which I import from Outlook
on a regular basis (via cron job). In this case, I have to drop the old
calendar database and re-import the complete calendar from outlook again, to
prevent duplicate items. After the import, the following error message appears
(160 Popup Messages!):

Error while trying to delete calendar item. Error was: No items found

If the database is not deleted (which generates duplicate items), no error
message appears.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sync calendar via caldav
2. Delete all existing calendar items on server and re-import all entries again
(also the new onces)
3. Sync again = crash
Actual Results:
160 Popup Messages:
Error while trying to delete calendar item. Error was: No items found

Expected Results:
Same like Android:
Refresh the calendar without error messages.

I have the same problem using KMail 4.9.4 and GMail over IMAP.
I don't know why, but in other mail clients IDLE IMAP works fine with GMail

My current workaround is to set the mail checking interval to 15 minutes.
Will this issue been fixed in the next kde release?
