https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374462 Richard Johnson changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|WAITINGFORINFO |WORKSFORME Status|NEEDSINFO |RESOLVED --- Comment #27 from Richard Johnson --- No longer reproductible * latest version of KDE on kubuntu 22.04, Now, moving a folder via mouse moves the folder but it does not appear to have moved until after a restart of the system. Restarting Kmail alone does not seem to move it. I didn't try akonadictl restart, so that might do it. In any case, it doesn't segfault and crash now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 374462] Kmail crash when moving a folder between two maildir ressources
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374462 --- Comment #25 from Richard Johnson --- Latest tests: * December 2020 * kubuntu 20.04 * Kmail 5.13.3 -- not sure of QT version (but it's the default) * Using postgresql (moved from mysql because of repeated table corruption) Opened a maildir that was not the default ~/.local/share/local-mail, attempted to move folders. 1. Unable to select more than one folder at a time to move. (Not sure it's a bug.) 2. Moved a few folders, and then akonadi crashed. This requires a kill and restart of both kmail and akonadi in order to recover. It is repeatable. I have not been able to get a good stack trace on it yet, but suspect that moving large directory trees risks either a buffer overflow or a race condition. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
