This has been definitely solved eons ago. Sadly I do not know in which version.

Dear Bug Submitter,

Sorry, my original description is not accurate enough. I mean that if akoandi
gets started and no passphrase is entered on time akonadi (or something else)
times out.

As I said, I presume akonadi is the one tiing out as if I input the passphrase
later kwallet keeps working as usual.
