I built it in a lab using a minimalist 9.2 install as follows, and it works
just fine:
apt-get install automake libtool pkg-config libboost-dev libboost-system-dev
liblog4cplus-dev postgresql-server-dev-all libpq-dev build-essential libssl-dev
ccache
if using git, first do: autoreconf
