Support for native Kerberos authentication (by means of GSS based
authentication) will be part of the next release. Most of the code is
already in CVS, you can have a look at

Forgive me for being a little dense here, as I've never directly used an
MS KDC, but does this mean MS didn't impliment the standard kadmin
protocol so that you could just use the MIT kadmin for these types of
things?

It seems that I'd really rather use PAM or pubcookie for my password
auth and then GSS-based stuff for native Kerberos.

After all I have to modify the MIT's kadmin to be compatible with windows's kadmin.

I can recall that krb5_cc_initialize ultimately
calls krb5_fcc_initialize function which resides in
src/security/krb5/lib/ccache/file/fcc_init.c file.
I guess, it is the similar case with
krb5_cc_destroy call.
