Everytime the battery dies on my macbook, Ubuntu hard crashes and
requires a completely new boot afterwhich this error is reported.
Additionally, closing the laptop lid will not allow system resume and
instead requires a complete hard reboot. Finally, plugging

John Scott, just to clarify, it sounds like when the lid is closed, it
is set to suspend. Would this be correct?
Also, for now, let the scope of this report focus on you using the open
source drivers for your WiFi, as it would be easier to get support from
the entire FOSS community, versus one
