For the record, this still is a problem on 14.04 with HWE kernel
(currently linux-image-generic-lts-vivid-3.19.0.26.13). Bad throughput
and massive packet loss with built-in driver, no issues anymore with
out-of-tree driver.

As of Wiley-Daily 9-17-15, kernel 4.2.0-10-generic, laptop will now
hibernate fully with power led going off but will not resume properly.

I also do not see the line I got with 4.3-rc1:

Long story short, newer Nexus 7 "flo" models, made in/after late 2014 have a
different revision to their eMMC controller/hardware/something. This causes
Ubuntu Touch to fail to boot (or enter recovery).
I built the next test kernel up to the following commit:

Ooops, sorry, this is apparently not about the keyboard but the notebook
screen. Though, adjusting screen brightness works fine on my new XPS 13
delivered Sept 10, too. (Fn+F11, Fn+F12)

I can confirm this is obviously *fixed* in Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS running on
XPS 13 Developer Edition notebooks bought in August 2015. The keyboard
backlit can be adjusted using the Fn+F10 (oder just the F10 key when the
Fn-lock is on, like I have it).
