You do not need kernel 4.1.6. You can always uninstall my module by running sudo apt-get remove focaltech-dkms if you installed it from a deb package. Or by sudo dkms remove focaltech/1.5 --all sudo dkms remove focaltech/1.5~trusty --all as I see that you installed two versions for some
