I'm not able to reproduce this bug since a kernel update that came in the following 2 or 3 days after the suspend hiccups. There is no problem anymore putting my PC to standby and waking it up. Everything is running smooth. But thanks for pointing out that my BIOS is outdated. I wasn't aware of
