Confirmed 4.6.0-10-generic_4.6.0-10.12 can boot without hitting the orange screen. Instead however, it boots seemingly without proper kernel mode setting. I see unity-greeter in low resolution and then the whole system is frozen. Anyway, suffice to say there the orange screen issue doesn't seem
