Public bug reported:
===SRU Justification===
[Impact]
Some PCI device are not power managed by system firmware get runtime suspended
incorrectly. In this case it's an xHC device, which can't be woken up by
plugging USB device.
[Test]
With the patch, the xHC no longer get put to suspend
Rfkill key produces 2 events: keyboard and one, that should be handled
by dell-wmi.
Hwdb record is for keyboard event. Release emulation is required, at
least for my model. Otherwise evtest shows only 1 EV_KEY event.

I can observe the same issue on several Dell systems with Linux kernel
v4.4. I didn't test older kernel though.
It should be handled by the kernel instead of udevd's hwdb.
Does !wlan in hwdb necessary to make the wireless hotkey to work?
Anyway this is not the correct solution, the "!" is to

The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly
That procedure also broke 2 things into my Xubuntu 17.10 :
- Ethernet connexion not working any-more
- The Linux kernel version "n-1" is now tagged into the "auto-removable"
category, that would leave me with only one kernel version installed (I
have uninstalled the 4.17 RC1 version).

First, I uninstalled Virtualbox.
Proprietary Nvidia drivers were never installed on my computer, there is
the "nouveau.modeset=0" parameter into Grub.

Run 'dmesg' to see it all.

by the system.

New theory: The monitor must be on, booted up and still not in sleep
mode when the HDMI USB-C adapter is attached to the laptop. I could get
the correct resolution already twice with this procedure.

Can you attach dmesg with "btusb.enable_autosuspend=0", and another
dmesg without the parameter?
I am guessing that ath10k and btusb can't get probed at the same time.

* netfilter: x_tables: pass xt_counters struct to counter allocator
* netfilter: x_tables: pass xt_counters struct instead of packet counter
* ARM: omap2: hide
