1) I removed the kernel parameters and I am getting the same behavior.
I'll leave it off, I had to set it to boot the live cd. There is a bug
report somewhere where I found this workaround. It seems to work now,
perhaps this acpi problem has been fixed.

The patched kernel results in trackpad fully working on my Yepo 737A.
Buttons, tracking, tapping for doubleclick and two-finger-gesture. Very

After using that patched kernel for 2 days, it's also solves the suspend
freezing problem, i am able to close the lid and open it without removing the
i2c_hid.
Also theres no random freezes/slowdowns like on the 4.14-rc7 kernel.

Not booting at all times

[Impact]
sysfs shows the linkspeed of 16 GT/s devices as "Unknown", so the user can't
actually see what speed it is capable of, or currently running at.
[Test Case]
For a PCIe device that supports 16 GT/s:
$ cat /sys/devices/pci:80/:80:08.0/max_link_speed
16 GT/s
