Used box with Kubuntu hirsute daily dell [optiplex] 990 (i7-2600, 16gb, nvidia geforce gt 6600 gt) The session there was almost impossible to use (flashing quickly gave me a headache & made me feel queezy). I filed issue under https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-meta/+bug/1891408
