These ACPI errors are the results of missing BIOS's ACPI (EC) device
"IEC" - the real EC devices are I_EC and H_EC. Therefore, accessing
_SB.PCI0.LPCB.IEC.ECRD fails and causes a chain of failures.
The real impact is failing to access "_SB.PCI0.LPCB.I_EC.SEN2._TMP"
(which access IEC.ECRD). _TMP

Public bug reported:
I have a fresh Ubuntu 21.04, installed last friday (2021-06-18).
During the installation I can connect to my enterprise wifi.
But today no way to connect to a new wifi (I'm working at home today).
I always have connection failed.
I've found "solutions" but they are talking
Adjusting priority to high while waiting for patches to test.

Please also give me the full dmesg after boot of v6. I need to know the
input mapping for the very specific HID usage 0x0c. Thanks.

Hello Colin, or anyone else affected,
Accepted thermald into hirsute-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thermald/2.4.3-1ubuntu1 in a few
hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. See

I thought I'd better give another update given it has been a while and
I've not returned with the information requested. I've not found the
switch point to provide the bisect output asked for, but I can add some
additional info that may be of help.
Any 5.8 series kernel I have tried from rc1
