Same experience as above since update to 4.15.0-177 on Ubuntu 18.04.6 a couple
of days ago.
Running Asus UA430 w/ 8GB Ram and Intel I5.
Pressing F2 revealed excessive boot time seems related to UFW. Takes about 3
min to process UFW - receive numerous stream of message "Start job running

Dell 5000, Ubuntu 18.04, boots OK off "4.15.0-176-generic" but with
"Linux 4.15.0-177-generic" hangs at the welcome screen.
"sudo lspci -vnvn" (when booted off 4.15.0-176-generic) returns:
00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel
Confirmed, my system boots fine when that second monitor isn't plugged
in. I removed the bluetooth driver as well, but that didn't fix it.

I'm seeing the same thing with 20.04 when running any of the 5.13
kernels. Last tested with 5.13.0-41.
My setup is an ASUS Hero XIII motherboard. Monitor plugged in, with a
second monitor plugged in via a USB / HDMI adapter (not sure if that is
relevant)
