Christopher, while I find the time to do this, I have checked the live

I updated the BIOS to 2.59, actually. Throughout the whole process, I
had my externam monitor disconnected from my laptop. In this situation,
my laptop is able to suspend correctly. However, when I plug in my
monitor via a VGA cable, I cannot suspend my laptop, and the same text
reappears

I am also having similar issues keeping my laptop suspended. When I try
to suspend my laptop, 90% of the time it re-wakes within 2 seconds,
displays some text on the screen, and sends me back to the log-in
screen. The work-around posted here does not work for me. Please help?

for the records the problem with the keyboard was solved by connecting a
usb2.0 hub between my usb3.0 hub and the usb1.1 devices. everything
still working good with 3.14-rc6. (except suspend/resume but that seems
to be an Xorg driver problem)

@Roberto Grassi,
I'm sorry if this is a newbie question. I searched the file and what I
found was: PDE(inode)-data, do you mean to just replace that with
PDE_DATA(inode)-data??
That's what I did and I'm still getting error
