@penalvch - if the manufacturer doesn't differentiate between the E440
and E540 at the BIOS level, how does it make any sense for a downstream
like Launchpad to maintain the fiction that they're two different
machines?

I confirm that disabling USB3.0 in my BIOS allows my Thinkpad E440 to
suspend/resume successfully again.
