On friday I had to reboot.. and before that I somehow accidentally
removed the 3.19 kernel. With no bootable kernel available I reinstalled
xenial onto / and got a 4.4 kernel. Now everything is normal again. So
given that the kernel and initrd did not change I must have had

removal.. Still I can experience the problem on krillin with USB

Yes there is no difference with 4.5-rc5-wily. The last message after
loading the kernel and then switching to a framebuffer console is about
btrfs. Then nothing but reactions to USB devices plugged in and .. me
forcing it to reboot.
