Yes, it's the one that came with the laptop. I can't isolate the exact
problem. It'll initially work for a few minutes when I first plug it
in, then it'll become completely unresponsive and I'll have to unplug it
and use wireless. Then if I plug it in an hour later, it'll work fine
for hours.

The default kernel in Ubuntu 16.04 is not stable on the Dell Precision
5520. I had to upgrade to 4.10.0-27 for this problem to go away.
However, the ethernet dongle still does not work reliably.

I have a Dell Precision 5520 that came pre-installed with Ubuntu 16.04.
I use it at home on wireless exclusively. When I take it to work, I plug
it into ethernet via the ethernet dongle. Without fail, almost an hour
