I have the same laptop with Ubuntu 20.04.2 and same problem with the Bluetooth adapter. After reading this thread, I made a win10 USB boot drive, shortly after booting it the Bluetooth adapter was detected and i paired it with my phone. I got the below info from powershell. Caption
