Hi,
I'm also affected by this issue. The system wakes itself randomly in my
XPS 9530 laptop. I've disabled in the BIOS Smart Connect to see if this
happens again.
I'm running 14.04 with latests updates.

Public bug reported:
I've updated today to the latest available kernel in the repositories
(Ubuntu 13.10) and I can only see one CPU and core in my machine.
I've done a cat /proc/cpuinfo and this is what I get:
processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model
Looks like I come from bug #1184262, and I'm experiencing the same
problem :-) pm-suspend works always, quickly and the network is
available without problems, however if I suspend the laptop with the lid
or Unity menu, network never comes back. I'll try to send you a log, so
you can review it here
Hi,
This bug is affecting me as well. I cannot do anything to prevent it.
Any ideas how to solve it?
