I'm affected by this bug. On latest BIOS update 2.17 problem persists. Disable USB3.0 on Bios solves the problem. Tried on kernels 3.16.0-29 and 3.18.2. Running on Ubuntu 14.10, but I don't mind to install any other distro or version, either RHEL 7.0 or Ubuntu 12.04.02. I'm able to help debug or
