Using Wayland didn't solve the problem, even worst... it makes the
desktop more unstable.

Hi! I have an Omen by HP 15-ce004la with NVIDIA GTX1060 Q-MAX and the
bug is still present.
This is my setup:
Ubuntu 18.04 with kernel 4.18.13-041813-generic
I'am getting acpi errors like this one below in boot time too:
