Well, if the drivers were being updated automatically with a system
update they weren't for me.
The engineer didn't explain exactly what he did, sorry.
The repair wasn't expensive, so maybe you should get an engineer to look
at?

Sound working again thanks to an engineer. Apparently, the sound drivers

A computer is 50% useless without sound. You don't seem to be in hurry
to roll this back to end my misery. This is the second time this has
happened, the first had to be fixed by an engineer. Seriously thinking
of using Windows, or seeing an engineer again because of your update.
